I don’t usually write fan letters to frozen food producers, but I had to drop a line to tell you how impressed I am with your Spaghetti & Meatballs.

A few weeks ago, I had delicious home-made spaghetti at a local fund-raiser. The next week, I tried your product and was astonished to find that it was better than the family recipe I had sampled the week before. The meatballs and sauce are very flavorful without being overpowering. Your spaghetti is a winner.

I enjoy many of your frozen entrees, but this one is really exceptional. I buy your frozen dinners at Woodman’s in Madison, WI and plan to ask them to expand the selection. Nice job, folks!”…

- M.E. Monona, WI

“I just wanted to let you know I have never tasted a pie as good as you make, the crust is out of this world. I have had the Pumpkin, Lemon, Apple,Bananna, I wasn’t aware you had dinners I will look for them.”…

- M.I. Redding, CA

“I just have to tell you that I bought this meal and your meatloaf and they were the best frozen meals I have ever had. It was so nice to feel as if I had actually eaten a meal. When I saw them in the store I was surprised at the price but was happy to find that they are worth every penny. Thank you for coming out with a true frozen meal (most of the frozen stuff is more like a snack), being single, this made a fabulous dinner for me when I did not feel like cooking.”…

- D.F. Las Vegas, NV

“Great chicken pot pie. This one is the third one I’ve had in the past two weeks. Delicious. Thanks. Great size and price.

This is just my initial experience with Claim Jumper. It was great.”…

- V.F. Philadelphia, PA

“Greetings! My daughter would like to serve Claim Jumper Retail Lasagna at her wedding reception dinner! Lasagna is her favorite food and she thinks Claim Jumper’s is the best she’s ever tasted—even better than homemade!”…

– G.F. Snohomish, WA

“When I took my first class in calculus, one of the realms we studied was how to determine the lowest ratio of surface area to volume for any of several geometric figures. We learned that the optimum is a sphere, but we also considered practical issues such as packaging where a sphere is not a practical shape for several reasons. Back in World War II, the US Army determined that the best way to save on valuable steel in [cylindrical] food cans was to set the height equal to the diameter. That was many years ago when many of us wondered if commercial packaging would ever take the high road of more efficiency – i.e. the least amount of packaging for the most volume. Ideally, a cube is the perfect answer in this respect – stable and efficient – but marketing comes into consideration, which helps to explain why cereal packages that must appeal to young kids is the least efficient from an packaging material standpoint, but the most from a marketing standpoint. (Large, cellophane bags have been an answer in that marketplace.)

Kudos to Claim Jumper for finally taking the lead in utilizing more efficient packaging! Here’s hoping that other producers will follow your lead. I’m no tree hugger, but we could sure use a major reduction in the garbage we produce.”

- P.T. Canoga Park, CA

It’s been said that “you can’t pack 10 lbs. of potatoes into a 5lb sack”. We respectfully disagree! Our new carton packs the same great Claim Jumper taste, premium ingredients and “stick to your ribs” quality into a smaller package. It even takes up less space in your home freezer. The best news is our new package does more with less!

Reduces overall packaging by 15%

Saves over 6 Billion BTU’s of energy. That’s enough energy to power a large neighborhood (62 homes) for a year.

Saves 20,000 gallons of gasoline and 198 tons of Carbon Dioxide emissions.

That’s enough gas to fuel the cars (33 cars) in a small neighborhood for a year. We’ve also saved thousands of gallons of water and tons of garbage. Helping the planet should always taste this good!
